CLC Foundation

CLC Foundation, Inc. (“CLCF”) is dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals living with persistent disabilities within our community. CLCF is committed to developing innovative programs and providing client-centered services designed to support the greatest needs of those we serve. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, CLC Foundation seeks to provide services to the disabled for as little cost as possible.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York

The Epilepsy Institute DBA: The Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York (EFMNY) has been at the heart of the NYC epilepsy community for over fifty years, and is New York City’s only specialized organization combining epilepsy education, awareness, and advocacy with individualized services such as counseling and vocational supports. Since 1967 thousands of people with epilepsy and their families have received information or have benefited from the comprehensive social and educational services offered by the EFMNY. Staffed with professionals from the medical, social work, vocational counseling and psychological professions, the EFMNY provides a wide variety of services and supports to persons with epilepsy, their families and the community. The Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York, a 501(c)3 non-profit agency, is certified by New York State and maintains contractual agreements with New York City, New York State, and the Epilepsy Coalition of New York State, as well as being a Regional Affiliate of the Epilepsy Foundation of America.

WINSLOW THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER

“Healing With Horses”

Winslow provides services to children and adults with special needs through the use of the horse in therapy and education. Winslow offers weekly therapeutic horseback riding lessons as well as a number of other programs which incorporate therapeutic riding.

Studies show that therapeutic riding improves physical health, strengthens core muscles, and enhances coordination. Winslow’s caring staff and volunteers are well-trained. We provide a positive environment for learning with special consideration given to the capabilities of each individual rider.

HIDDEN TREASURES

“Fostering Creativity Through Studio and Performing Arts”

Hidden Treasures is an educational arts program for the disabled. Students learn to tap into their creativity and self-expression through the studio and performing arts.

Over 160 students participate in weekly classes which include singing, theater, modern dance, tap dance, musical drama, studio art, and crafts.

The CLC Choral Group performs at hospitals and nursing homes all across Westchester County.
